We are proud that the Missoula Marathon has such a positive effect on the local community, including charitable giving. For 2023, we once again have an opportunity for you to take part in a great event all while helping to raise funds for an amazing local cause.

 

Youth Homes Run4Kids Team

Run Wild Missoula and the Missoula Marathon for more than a decade have partnered with Youth Homes as they make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children in Western Montana. Each year the Run 4 Kids Team raises funds to ensure kids in care with Youth Homes have the help, care and support they need to heal and become healthy.

 

Youth Homes offers many benefits to members of the Run 4 Kids team who agree to a fundraising commitment, including:

 

• FREE REGISTRATION for the Marathon, Half Marathon or 5k
• Discounted fees for the Run Wild Missoula Marathon & Half Marathon Training Class
• Team members receive perks such as Run4Kids race gear, exclusive race-day benefits, and fundraising prizes.

“... The race was beautiful. Even for the slow runners, like myself, the on course encouragement was great too. There was a lot of encouragement among the runners running a 5hr plus pace that you may not see in other places. I mean, where else do random strangers willingly help out and share body glide with a passing runner in need. It was also cool to pause at the finish line while some of the running ‘buddies’ you had passed finished and you got to congratulate them, separate from everyone else, for what they had done knowing that these guys had really gone through a lot to finish.”
