Montana Trail Crew Interview Series: Sally Henkel

This week we chatted with Sally Henkel who will be making her return to Missoula as soon as she is able to leave isolation at the base of the Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness. Sally has extensive outdoor and trail running experience, but is all about inclusivity in trail running, especially for women. She’s a Trail Sisters Ambassador, Rut finisher, inventor of the Snickle (you have to watch to figure out what a Snickle is!), and turns most races into dance parties.
